Today, more than ever, it is important to reawaken our humanity and rediscover the value of welcome starting from the family, our neighbors, and the whole creation around us. If we learn to be open and welcome all this, we will be able to better understand our life and that of others, other people’s choices and experiences. By discovering the talents of all creatures (including animals and plants) and by promoting them, we will contribute to create a more just and equitable society, where everyone may feel part of the one and only big human family (FT 11).
