The landscape is also a result of human work and is beautiful and serene if, in transforming it, the original natural setting, which is the fruit of creation, has been kept and if the design has also considered making it profitable for all creatures, human beings included, aiming to increase its beauty. Senseless exploitation produces bad landscapes, as well as injustices and problems for everyone. Peaceful communion with other animate and inanimate beings is an essential condition for the salvation of all (LS 151).
