Beauty is the ability to discover, by constantly being amazed, the perfection of God’s gifts in all His creatures, animate or inanimate (LS12). It goes beyond cultural stereotypes, fleeting emotions, and our fickle states of mind. It entails discovering our own beauty, an infinite gift, in the perfection of creation. And this means that not the care of beauty, but the beauty of taking care of everything around us makes a difference in our life and enlightens our path and that of others.
